Terms of Service

PageGen is a web application that uses artificial intelligence to generate product page content for Shopify stores. The service includes AI-powered product research, HTML generation, SEO optimization, Shopify publishing, supplier URL monitoring (Partner Watch), and billing management.

PageGen is operated by an individual based in Antwerp, Belgium. The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.

• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering.
• One account per person or business entity. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits is prohibited.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at creativxm@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

PageGen offers a free tier and paid subscription plans billed monthly via Stripe.

• Free plan: 5 AI generations per month at no cost. No credit card required.
• Paid plans: Billed monthly in advance. Prices are shown at sign-up and on the pricing page.
• Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
• Cancellation: You may cancel anytime via Account → Manage Subscription. You retain access until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you experience a billing error, contact us within 14 days and we will investigate.
• Price changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before changing paid plan prices.
• Taxes: Prices are exclusive of VAT/taxes where applicable under Belgian and EU law.

You agree not to use PageGen to:

• Generate content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation, including consumer protection and advertising standards.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying AI models or system prompts.
• Use automated scripts or bots to abuse the generation quota (beyond normal use).
• Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our infrastructure.
• Generate content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

PageGen platform: All software, UI designs, algorithms, and branding of PageGenare our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them.

Generated content: The AI-generated product page content produced for your specific product inputs is owned by you, subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers (Anthropic, Google, Groq). You are responsible for ensuring generated content does not infringe third-party rights before publishing.

Feedback: If you submit bug reports or feature suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the service.

You retain ownership of all content you input into PageGen (product names, URLs, descriptions). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely to deliver the service.

We do not use your product content to train AI models or share it with third parties, except as necessary to operate the service (e.g., passing a product name to the AI provider to generate content).

To use Shopify publishing features, you connect your Shopify store via Admin API credentials. By doing so, you authorize PageGen to:

• Read your product catalog, collections, and store settings.
• Create and update product descriptions and SEO fields.

Your Shopify Admin API token is stored encrypted on our servers and never exposed in the browser. You can revoke access at any time from your Shopify admin panel. PageGen is not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify Inc.

• AI-generated content may contain errors, outdated information, or inaccuracies. Always review before publishing.
• Partner Watch stock and price signals depend on third-party website availability and may not be real-time.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.
• Shopify publish results depend on your Shopify plan and API limits.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PageGen and its operator shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
• Loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.
• Errors in AI-generated content that you publish to your Shopify store.
• Third-party service outages (Shopify, Stripe, Clerk, etc.).

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Belgian or EU law.

By you: You may delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data within 30 days.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the service. We will provide reasonable notice except in cases of serious breach.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, liability, governing law) will remain in effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium and, where applicable, the laws of the European Union.

If you are an EU consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Antwerp, Belgium, without prejudice to your rights as an EU consumer.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and post the new version with an updated date. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
